Scope Productions recently produced Australia’s inaugural Hurun Report Awards Gala, known as the “Oscars” in China’s business world.
The event was held at The Star Sydney, with top business professionals in attendance, including some of China’s top business leaders.
With just under two months to plan and produce, Scope Productions were tasked with managing all audio visual, staging, entertainment, design, decorating, theming and technical elements.
Coinciding with Chinese New Year, the gala evening featured vibrant red theming, with a light and laser show, visual animations and a variety of show-stopping performances.
Highlights included a walk-in act by cellist Hanna Oblikov, a performance by rock violinist Jane Cho and an vocal performance by Nicholas Gentile.
Decorative Events & Exhibitions created an eye-catching ceiling installation, while floral arrangements were supplied by Hermetica.
The event was emceed by television presenter Kylie Gillies and entrepreneur Dion Woo.
Hurun Report Awards Gala was such a success that the event is set to return to Sydney next year and Scope Productions have also been asked to produce the event in Singapore in 2020.
