There’s nothing like a guest celebrity appearance to get people talking about your event.
But securing the hottest celebrity chef, TV personality or famed pop singer isn’t always easy, or affordable.
That’s where Merlin Events can provide the perfect solution with its celebrity wax figures at Madame Tussauds Sydney.
With capacity for up to 1000 guests, Madame Tussauds offers a unique venue for corporate events, giving your guests full private access to the attraction and over 90 wax figures.
The team at Merlin Events love getting creative with the wax figures and incorporating them into events. Recently, they used their Curtis Stone figure to create a unique food station for a corporate event.
“When Madame Tussauds launched Curtis Stone’s figure and kitchen set, we immediately saw its potential to wow guests with a food station set up in the kitchen,” says events manager Kirsty Esson.
“Often when guests arrive and see the stations set up in this location they assume the food is not real, and it is only as they get closer they realise it is all real and for them to enjoy.”
The Curtis Stone food station was accompanied by an extensive canape package and pop-up bars located throughout the venue.
Esson says at Merlin Events, and specifically at Madame Tussauds, it is all about creating a fun, memorable experience.
“Guests have access to explore the venue’s many zones,” says Esson.
“They can strut their stuff on the catwalk with Megan Gale in our Fashion Zone, jump into a recording booth and sing their favourite tune in the MTV Music Zone, and use the bat signal to call Batman for help in the dark streets of Gotham City.”
To finish the night, a popular option is a dessert and lolly station set up as a high tea alongside British Royals the Queen, Prince William and Kate.
